My blog is about my journey as a business owner, writer, urbanist, mentor to women, mom, twin, advocate for causes I believe in, and backyard chicken farming, too.
I believe that all women deserve a seat at the table and that our voices, stories, and journeys are an integral part of getting us there.
My book, KEEPING YOUR SEAT AT THE TABLE, a Memoir and Guide on Regaining Confidence in Middle-age, is available on Amazon and in ebook, and audiobook formats. Go to the book website to learn about the launch: Keeping Your Seat at the Table.
I write memoir, fiction, and professional publications. Keeping Your Seat at the Table, is the journey of regaining my confidence and power in my professional life. I had decades of professional experience but was passed over repeatedly when job-hunting. When I found my self-esteem plummeting, I was determined to get it back, along with my seat at the table. I stopped looking for a job and reached out to those who had rejected me to understand why. What I learned was eye-opening and valuable enough to share. Keeping Your Seat at the Table reveals why middle-aged women are so often passed over for jobs for which they are well-qualified, how I got my seat back at the table, and how other women can, too.
